I try to answer if I know what the answer is weather it is something I know from experience (most of the time) or something I have gotten from a dependable source. I was recently given credit for an idea about checking float level and when I was i posted that it wasn't my idea but a good trick. I wrongly gave Cowboy credit since thats who I got it from. Phil then posted that it was in the manual , I just hadn't read that part yet. This is not to say there was anything wrong with Cowboy posting it, quite to the contrary he should be given credit for passing on the knowlege he had gained where ever it had come from. He didn't say it was in the manual but to the person or people it helped I'm sure it didn't matter. I am a long time mechanic and bike restorer and builder and I pass on what I know as well as the things I have learned here and other places, some of the knowlege overlaps some doesn't. Instead of being upset that someone doesn't include a footnote as to where the info came from you and everyone should be thankful that another person took the time to answer and help.
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains. Eat right ,Exercise ,Stay fit, Die Anyway!
