In fact I even toyed with the idea of putting the bonnyville pipes on my bike. I know this would be unusual but considering I want to improve the sound of mine and the bonnyville pipes look great so why not

Why not? Because of the crank timing. So far you know they sound good on a 360-degree engine. They might sound great on your 270-degree engine but they might sound awful. Can you borrow them from your friend for a few minutes?

I was looking at the pea shooters not too long ago again and the curve on the header end would make them slant up or down depending what way you put them on. You would have to make an adapter with a bend or headers that have a similar bend to the bonnie exhaust.
