Has any one use a Memphis Shades slim 17inch and also used a Clear View summer screen and what was your thought on the two. I have the menphis but thinking about to switch and was wondering better or worse? I'm 5'8".

Karen (my g/f) is 5-7 and she has a Triumph Summer Screen (same look as clear view) and she has no issues.
Im 6-1 and get the living (and non-living) snot buffeted out of me on her bike.

The Triumph Summer Screen pretty much is no good for most riders over 5'8" tall. At 6' it killed me as well. I bought the 17" Clearview replacement (uses the Summer Screen hardware) and am very happy. It looks even better and works great.

I'm just the same as Bob in all the detail. Really love mine and believe you can't go wrong with the clear view. It's also nice to be able to a least use the hardware and because of this same money and recycle at the same time

hey RamSound, greetings from Sydney,Australia,I got a similar problem, I bought/installed a genueine summer screen for my 06 triumph America, and am dissapointed by the wind buffeting around my head, gets worse as speed increases.I notice you solved the problem with a Clearview windscreen, can you tell me where you bought it,what model and what size.I understand it will mount on the hardware that comes with the summer screen. Thanks Verne Baistow,Sydney,Australia.

www.clearviewshields.com go to online store then to Triumph. List both summer and roadster screen replacements.

Verne, check out the other thread in this section "Triumph Touring Screen" for more information on this. I'm 6' tall and the 17" Clearview Shield summer screen replacement did the trick for me. If you're taller than 6' you may need to go to the 18". Be sure to get the light tint, which is similar to the factory tint and looks better.
