gonekat,
Gruss Gott ( I couldn't figure out how to spell it right w/ our computers) which definitely is a Bavarian term, but it was used quite a bit around Schweinfurt( I was told we were considered Bavarian). Understand the OPSEC concerns
as I recall you must be having a rainy year, I believe we had around 15 days w/o rain while I was there

Anway, would love to see some pics of that Triumph anywhere you might get to while you're there. I wish I had any of my bikes with me while I was there. Tschuss

Geez, Mac, I hope you didn't say that they were Bavarians around Schweinfurt!! That kind of crazy talk will get ya shot ya know!! They're Franks, and technically Franken IS part of Bavaria according to every map printed, but being a bit hard headed and proud of heritage and all, they will loudly protest that they are Frankish, NOT Bavarian!! Of course, I take EVERY opportunity to tell my friends in that part of BAVARIA, that the capital of Franken is in MUNICH (the capital of BAVARIA) Always makes for good fun around a Mass of Bier!! And for info, to type up Grüß Gott,
just hold the Alt key and punch 129 on the number keypad for the ü, and Alt and 225 for the S-Zett (ß) or fancy double s...
Tschüß!
