Like Mac says, "Don't sell yourself short". The vast majority of our armed forces never see "action". I was Air Force from 1967 till 1971, when Vietnam was going hot and heavy. I never left the states. But regardless of what we did while in the military, we did what they needed us to do. Those that were actually in combat still needed the rest of us for support, logistics, supply, etc. It took all of us to do the job. Even though I never saw action, I still feel proud that I did my part. I am a veteran just as you are. So I, for one, thank you for what you did, and I thank Mac for this post.
