Same thing seems to happens with other brands of bikes, too.
the Yamaha FJR screen goes up and down electrically and tiltis backwards at the same time. But the rider 6' and over get buffeting. some of thier swcreens are 3-4 inches taller and wider. I was fine with the stock screen, but i'm pnly 5'6".
And look in a Harley accessory catalogue and see how many different screens and sizes they offer...<BG>
My Triumph has a Memphis shades screen. It's pretty good, didn't notice much buffeting just riding, but did notice a lot of buffeting when passing or being passed by semi's. No screen was a bit better for buffeting, but more tiring sitting straight in the wind.
The only thing I don't like is that the screen is crazed(tiny cracks) but that's pbly from the type of plastic.
You may have to try several.
