Well the bike is totally back together and starts right up as usual. I havent been able to figure out what is wrong with it even with all the great information from everyone on here. The one good thing about all this is that I am alot more comfortable working on the my bike now since out of necessity I had to take of the carbs.....should make jetting mine when I change to k&n much easier.

Thanks especially to The Dog and Old Roadie who kept in contact numerous times with things to try...sue wish one had worked HAHA

So I am loading it up in the morning and taking it to Lexington Motorsports to have it looked at. They seem to be a good shop. I did not purchase there but my Dad's bike came from them. They did do waranty work on my SM when the front rotors warped. They road it around the parking lot once and said dont worry its covered under warranty unlike some of the shops people have complained about having to talk them into it or even getting Peter from triumph involved.

Wish me luck. The only bad thing about the trip to Lexington is the wife is going and she already found like 100 different antique stores in the area....so its not like the bike will cost all of my money to get fixed....but she will just spend the rest

2003 Red and Black Speedy. What do I want to change on my bike next????
