Okay, so there I was.... On the way home from work, driving through my town, it's 4 lanes, two each way speed limit 35. I'm in the left lane following traffic. A car pulls around a corner without stopping, and cut off the cage next to me. The driver, is on her cell phone (of course), but, the car is a manual as well, she is taking her off the steering wheel to change gears. Well, I sped up just enough to be a few feet in front, with my speciayty spares about 2 feet from her window. I dropped it down to 2nd and kept the rpm's around 4k. I did this for a mile before I had to turn off. Was that bad of me?  Wendell

Living south of the canal, I assume you really don't want an opinion, just telling the story  I would expect nothing less south of the canal. Thats why the Wilmington people just speed through to get to the beach and hope they don't have to stop.

Not bad at all...I used me SpecSpares for almost the same purpose...just to wake me up.
Its intereseting how many people get that "oh crap" look after a blip of the throttle.
Next step is to add flame throwers to the ends of the pipes and get some of those tailgaters off your rear.

People on cell phones while driving is a pet peave of mine. I don't think you're bad!

Wendell, Every time I go to Dover, it seems like more and more people are aiming for me. I'm staying away, I'll take my chances with the tourist at the beach. I've done the same a few times and I enjoy being insensitive and rude.

Sounds reasonable to me. I would love a way to deal with tale-gaters myself. I'm thinking maybe a golf ball that drops from inside the rear fender, but I need something more targeted. No sense in harming anyone else.
Re: Cell phones, ARRGGHHH. I saw an article in Make magazine once about a guy that had invented a device that would interrupt the signal of all cell phones withing a certain vicinity, basically terminating all calls affected. HIGHLY illegal, federal stuff, but darn good idea. I would like one installed on my speedy. I'm thinking I've got two places on the gas tank for a switch. One for the cell phone eradicator, and one for the rear facing pneumatic potato cannon.

some woman cut Wendy off on the way to Epharta as I got up to her she is doing her make up (lipstick at this point) in the rear view mirror!! I wanted to kick her door in but behaved myself since I was going somewhere and that destination wasn't jail.

The City of Milford CT has launched a crack down on drivers using cell phones they are actually handing out tickets for a change. As part of the news report about it, A tv reporter interveiewed some jerk who bragged for five minutes how he drives and talks on his phone all the time. Said when he goes by a cop he puts the cell on his seat and just talks louder. So basically the meathead appeared on TV for fives minutes telling everyone what an a**hole he is. 15 minutes of fame.
