Yes, it's very likely that the Twin Cam won't survive much longer while the EVO keeps powering the original Triumph competitor, the Sportster. It's too bad they took their cost saving inside the motor to the components, the new "parent material" bearing surfaces almost guarantee catastrophic failure in the future followed by cost prohibitive rebuilds.
