Can't agree with you here GB. I think the remake of "War of the Worlds" was much better than the orig. because of the advances in special effects...



Actually Kenny, While I think the Spielberg version was pretty good(except for that kid playin' the lead in it ) I always thought the original 1953 version's FX and designs for the aliens spacecraft still hold up to this day.

It's kind of like the original "King Kong". Even though it was made in 1933, that movie still amazes.
