I have worked for (and employed) both male and female chefs almost all of whom were very talented. I don't see any difference, just like most things in life, except in the individual's abilities. When married, I did most of the daily cooking, as I learned to cook in restaurants (quick!). My ex handled the holidays and I pitched in on the sides. I value the experience I gained but glad I don't have to do it for a living now. Playing around with Thai and Vietnamese cooking now, hard to find the ingredients and even harder to get my 10 year old daughter to try most of it. Over the years I have found that women really like guys that can cook!
