Use an air compressor, I use an attachment that you would fill up an inflatable pool. slip it between the grip and the bar and it will slid right off, it takes about 3 sec to remove it, it also works to put it back on. then you wont have to worry about cleaning out and oils or lubricants before reinstalling.
