1) remove the end cap 2)slide a slim flat head screw driver under the lip of the grip 3)slide the nozzle (straw) of your wd40 under the grip next to the the screw driver and spray it in there 4) twist the grip and slide it off
No cuttin' needed, but be sure to clean the wd40 off the grip really well.
