One of the hardley boys at work is thinking about buying an 08 Fat Bob, He brought in a flyer today to show, Frist thing I noticed about the flyer was it had "Go your own way" printed on it, got a little chuckle out of that, then when i opened it up I started outright laughing, He asked what was I laughin at, I said the dual headlights, he said yeah they are kinda ugly, I said thats not what I'm laughing at. I said where do you think HD stole that idea from. He said "Buel" i was rollin. I just hope the new mystery 1500 Triunph dosnt have dual head lights. Just to add the same pamphlet had another hardley called "The Rocker"

The percentage you're paying is too high-priced

Just curious if "Fat Bob" is a description of the average owner?

Well I wasn't going to say anything but as far as I know Fat Bob is a gas tank and Fatboy is the bike.

They stole the 2 headlights from the '29 Harley.

The Rocker got its name from the way you lift the solo seat and pull up the passenger seat that hides away on a rocker mechanism. Haven't seen one in person yet, but it looks pretty weird in the photos.

My youngest brother (Bob) is a huge Harley nut. Every two years both he and his wife each buy a new Ultra. Unlike most Harley riders they really ride theirs. To the tune of 12-15,000 miles a year. He is also possessed of a good sense of humor (handy while growing up with me as your oldest brother.) Last year while at a stop while riding to my Mom’s gravesite a few fellow geezers were admiring the Triumph when one asked us what model his Harley was. Before he could reply I said “Why that’s the Harley Davidson Super Wide Glide Ultra Fat Bob.†The guy nodded and went back to asking about my BA. He’s been trying, without success, to get me back ever since.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
