Anyone else remove the rear peg hanger and move the peg to either the exhaust hole or the hole above left open from the removal of the hanger? I did it over the weekend, just wondering if the exhaust hole will support the riders feet. It looks soild. Snowing now so a true test ride with passanger wont happen for a while. May need loc-tite.
Yeah it's fast. It's blue and it has flames.

yeah it works. I used a few washers to get it to tighten up at the right angle. Only thing about that position is my rider often complains that her feet are too far forward so she can't support any of her weight that way.

Benny, My rider has the same complaint. I plan to move them to the upper hanger hole soon. I have not seen any negative effects from this mod, it supports my rider no problem (in a full standing position), and it really looks alot better.

I'll have to try that this spring. How tall is your rider? My gf is 5'9 and my sister is a full 6'.... They like the legroom, not the position, ya know? Have considered drop down brackets with the standard hangers, but I think it looks dumb.

have put footpegs in both hanger holes, and had no complaints, used a couple of washers for the bottom one to get the right angle, having a back rest helps, almost as comfortable as an arm chair,so i was told. In the top one used a washer to stop damage to enamel and used nut that held it in place on original hanger, passenger knee makes good elbow rest for those long journeys.
