Ever see some idiot driving along with a hands off phone blabbing, making faces and flapping both their hands around? Or some hothead screaming and yelling and wishing they could get their hands on the throat of the person they are talking to?
That kind of proves my point. Those are the idiots. Those are the ones that do not place their attention to driving first. In my opinion those same types of people that act like that with other people and not just on the phone. It's one of those personal responsibility things. To generalize and say that everyone is four times as likely to get into an accident during or after talking on the phone is crazy. It should be that those who are on the phone or have been on the phone and do not pay attention or do not care about what the heck they are doing are four times as likely to get into an accident.
In the interest of public safety (protecting us from ourselves), I propose a study of how more likely are you to get into an accident of you are living and breathing. Soren
