There was some talk in the CT legislature a few years back of banning the sale of what the polititions called "Street leagal racing bikes" to kids under 21. But it got shot down pretty quick.

That stinks about the guy falling off the bridge. Any more news on what may have happened for sure?
Glad that legislation got shot down. Just what we need, another, "Let us protect you from yourself" communist law.

I'm not sure if it's the same one I got pictures of (the Army emails us all gory accident reports all the time hoping to make us act sane when we're off duty), but it might be. The truck driver heard a thud and saw the remains of a rice-rocket fly past his cab - the pictures show the rider dangling from his own helmet, which was firmly embedded into the truck's rolldown door.

DeShain Green, 28, of Woodbury, was heading east at about 12:45 a.m. when his Suzuki motorcycle struck the rear of a car near the Philadelphia entrance of the bridge, said John Miller, a spokesman for the Delaware River Port Authority. Green was pronounced dead at the scene, Miller said. Authorities had not determined whether Green was exceeding the speed limit of 45 m.p.h., Miller said. Philly.com
