Looks like I may get rained on, on my upcoming trip to Charleston, SC, any suggestions on an inexpensive Rainsuit?

I picked a good one up at Costco for about that amount, but that was a year ago. Since then I have seen them at a good fishing store[OLD INLET at bethany] and at a boating store. The suits that are worn for sailing are weather proof. Mine is light weight and compresses well into my bag.Look on line, google it.

Frog togs by Coleman. About $39 and they work great.

Go for the Frogg Toggs pro action suit. It's very waterproof, extremely lightweight, and breathes (read - NOT HOT). It also packs in very little space so you can have it with you when you need it. It lists for $75. but prices very greatly depending where you buy. I found mine for $49.

Mark,
The rain suit I use is a $29 jewell from Wally World. It's been through some real rain storms and has served well. The Frog Toggs are very good, but as stated - Get them on sale ($39 sounds fair if you can find them. One thing for sure - You don't NEED to spend $75 and up. Get something with good stitching, lined so it's comfortable _ keeps you feeling cooler because your skin isn't stuck to the suit, vented - again cooler, and finally easy to get on and off.

I bought a $10 vinyl suit from WallyWorld, but have not taken it out. When I get caught in the rain, I am usually headed for the carport. But other times, far away from home, I find myself wet anyway and don't bother to stop. Will my vinyl suit rot in it's package? FroggToggs are available for $80-$90, but can be found on sale at $50. Frogg Toggs are great, and I will get a suit some day. Ride Safe, Dennis

Froggtoggs are The best lightweight you can buy. They are 59.95 and a waterproof bag about $8.00 to keep them in. You can go to www.froggtogg.info tolearn about them.
I was so much older then, I am younger than that now (Wrote By Dylan Sung by the BYRDS,)

ARD, that link didn't work for me but this one does: http://www.froggtoggs.com/ Mark, I replaced my HD rain pants with FT bibs and they work great. I'll be replacing my HD jacket with the FT jacket before next riding season starts.

The frogg toggs really do what they say - especially nice in a cold rain......
However - keep your leg away from those pipes - they tend to melt quickly....
