But that's not exactly saying much. Yes, that's a BBQ sidehack. I can't wait until the welds start failing on that puppy. Link.

What WILL those nifty minds in New Jersey think of next, FJ?! I mean, what a departure for them, huh?! A V-Twin in a hardtail frame, AND a long extended front end to boot. BUT, to top it all off, all that originality is attached to a sidehack carrying a BBQ!!! So novel!!! I'm tellin' ya...those guys are the best, aren't they?!

"you know it was really hard for me and Vinee to come up with this idea, I mean its not usually what we build here at OCC, we're not used to building a bike that actually handles, so welding a BBQ on like a side hack was a real challenge...not too many bbqs in bike catalogues these days so that added to the complexity of the build. But the old man has a good eye, especially for pork products so in the end his input really helped a lot."
...yes, that is a single seat...no, I will not put the other seat on...yes, I am selfish...yes, you should buy your own bike

Oh but you missed the best part. Did you see who it is made for?
" When we heard that RUB was commissioning Orange County Chopper, of American Chopper fame, to make a mobile barbecue pit, we thought it was a pretty cool idea. We expected it to be a novelty, like a two-headed kitten or the world’s largest ball of string. Nothing prepared us for the mind-numbing coolness of the actual RUB Chopper: The restaurant’s owner, Andrew Fischel, correctly characterizes as “the sickest, baddest thing in the world.â€Â

I saw that. A bike made for RUBs, just like everything else they have ever done. Yep, it'll never be ridden. It'll never be used. The whole thing just makes me shake my head and walk away.

Love the flames. You know, down here in Bubbaland that could be the star attraction at a Rib and Q meet.... I'll bet that's one toasty ride at the end of the grilling session

Just another reason to ;pve those guys as I do. I can't imagine anyone as involved in building bikes from the ground up. I wish I knew how to put an engine or trasmission together. Wish I could build my own frames. Wish I could make millions and still declare I was bankrupt.

I think paul Sr. had occ "NEW YORK" tattooed on his arm in one episode cause they kept getting confused with orange county CA. And here we are confusing it with NJ..ahha
That whole BBQ bike thing seems like something they would build on monster garage or something.

I agree FJ, I liked Monster Garage. It was cool the things they would think of building. Once in a while they went a bit overboard with the drama, but usually not too much.

Most bikes have a warm-up period before you ride them. This one has a cool-down period.

I thought the POW bike, and the Fire bike, were pretty cool. Then, they lost that kid "Jason?" that did the wicked paint. He probably got tired of getting yelled at! Uncle Charlie

Well it would be cooler than throwin the gas grill in the back of the pick up truck for the company picnic. But like with most of what OCC builds its just a lawn jockey with wheels.

Yeah to me they were still sorta ugly, but that was when they were building bikes to tribute something, and the "themes" were just something they wanted to do. After that they just got all these offers from big corporations to build "the gillete bike" and "the lincon bike" and it got way out of hand.

The fire bike was cool in the sense that it stood for and honored the fallen. Other than that the only ones I liked at all were the one that kinda looked like the old Indian and the pan bobber the old man built with Cody. I can't remember the Broughish one for Leno anymore.

The Billy Joel Indian and the Brough Superior chopper for Jay Leno were their two best builds and I did like the POW and Firebike because they were tributes to the fallen. Lately it's just been more of the same corporate chest beating and little, if any, inspiration.

How the hel do you make a chopper for the ny jets?..haha
"this seat was wrapped in official nfl pigskin"
They totally destroyed the classic "chopper" look for me, i can barely look at bikes like that anymore...i remember watching 1st jesse james special and really learning about the whole process, and then the OCC show come on and ruined it for me..haha

That is basicly my point, they are not choppers and you can't build a chopper from scratch. To get a chopper you have to start with a stock bike then chop it , hence the title chopper!

Yep, my feeling exactly. OCC and the like are custom bikes by my label, which is fine, just not my cup of tea.
In person, the Fire Bike has a lot of cool details and sounds incredible. I had an opportunity to watch Cody start and ride it up the hill at their old shop. He could barely reach the foot controls, but didn't have any problem banging a close u-turn and up the hill into the trailer.
