guys I had/have the exact same issue...try this...use a wire (or a quarter) and jump the leads on the starting solinoid (under your right side cover) BE SURE YOUR BIKE IS IN NEUTRAL I think you might find it's not your starter...I have a switched jumper semi perminately wired in there currently...but when old man winter visits the dealer will be getting it
