Doc told me that if I didn't lose some weight he was going to have increase my meds. I asked him how much he was going to increase them. Doc has NO sense of humor!

I have been taking ramapril. Low dose. No side effects to report though there has been an improvement in my health. Light headedness is listed as a possible side effect though I haven't experienced it.

Yeah Rob I take 100 mg twice per day of the Atenolol for a total of 200 mg per day. I have some dry mouth also, but nothing else, or if I do I don't know it. Dave

Here's something else for you guys that have high BP to consider (found it on a health & fitness site):
Israeli scientists discovered that men who downed just 2 ounces of pomegranate juice daily for a year decreased their systolic (top number) blood pressure by 21 percent and significantly improved bloodflow to their hearts. What's more, 4 ounces provides 50 percent of your daily vitamin C needs.
