I have been taking Benicar(1/2 a 10mg tab in AM) for about 6 months with no ill effects. Maybe your dosage is to high. Have you talked with your doctor? I take mine with a glass of juice then head out for a 3.5 mile walk. Have lost 35lbs since Jan. BP has gone from 155/105 to 110/75
