Not if you already have a higher registered bid in ebay. Ebay wil ALWAYS recognize the highest registered bid. That's the whole point of ebay proxy bidding. Unless you're talking about using a program outside of ebay to do your bidding...
I always thought the point of a snipe bid was to get the item cheaper by not driving the price up sooner. Not to try to confuse the system. For some reason I think the ebay sofware is a little more sophisticated than that.
