I'm 250. My wife is 140. The 440s I have (4404214C) ride pretty awful on rough back roads when 2 up, even set at full pre load. Smooth roads are fine. Bumpy roads cause the shocks to bottom.
The bottoming didn't happen with the stock shocks, but they rode awful. When one up, the 440s are fantastic - great ride, awesome handling - an extreme difference over stock.
