I have the Speedy handlebars and risers on my America. I have 2-3" of "extra" cable, but I just kind of tucked it behind the windshield. I think the Speedy risers are 4" high. Make sure you get the bolts with the risers, as the America bolts won't work. The top clamp is interchangeable.
Oh yeah, I love the bars - much better for me than the wide America bars.
