I too have been looking into getting a Memphis shield just for long trips. I was wondering if you could post a pic of the bike with the shield off so I can see how it looks with the brackets still on. I have seen alot of pics with the shield on but don't remember seeing any with the shield removed. That's one reason I haven't gone with the Triumph Roadster shield, I don't like the looks of the brackets after the shield is removed (well that and the $)
