I just got my TBA two months ago and want to remove the baffles to give the bike a better sound. I have a pair of Epcos on the bike right now, but they are just a bit too loud for some of the rides. I read alot on this Forum about the removal of baffles for our bikes.
Most of the threads describe the process on slash cut pipes, though. As some of you might know, the 07 model has these beatiful long pipes tapering at the ends and the process only seems to apply to the first baffle from the end.
Removing the first baffle does not pose a problem....but the second baffle seems to sit at the larger pipe diameter and without cutting the pipes
, I just cannot imagine how to remove them safely.
Any suggestions?
