How about plastic? Everthing is made cheaply and out of plastic, I just replaced my washer about 2 years ago that was made about 1953 and still worked fine but had a small washer leaking on the bottom of the clothes drum. I decided I would "upgrade" to a super capacity plus Wirlpool. Well I have had to fix the darn thing 3 times already and that old Kenmore never broke! Planned obsolesence.
