I stumbled across this site.

I sent an email enquiry and was advised that , although they dont list them, they do slash cuts to fit TBA/speedies that have removable baffles for £249.00

I have not heard how the pipes sound, nor do I have any connection to the company etc.

You might try these http://www.newspeedmaster.com/html/epco_mufflers.html I think they ship to the UK. For more pictures of the pipes, you can see them here, http://sarasota.bizland.com/epco/mufflers.htm#7

I have Epcos on my America and am very happy with them.

Yes ii spent a long time looking into the different options.

Trident exhausts do a pair for the speedmaster/tba but i couldnt find anyone who had them, and as they werent listed i decided not to risk getting a poor deal.

Newspeedmaster do ship to the uk, but its not too clear on the cost, i worked it out to be quite alot, on top of the pipes cost. They do however stock pretty much all the brands that are on offer.

Eventually i looked around the manufacturers, and the forums and decided on a pair of Speciality spares long slash cuts.
I definitley wanted removable baffles, and chrome rather than stainless. And they provide the AI removal and jets with the package, and cheap shipping. Plus from what i could gather they are loud enough.. i neither want to go deaf or upset the whole town.

And just as a side issue, i fould them to be the fastest to reply to my questions and it just felt that it would be a good deal.. dont ask me why.

so ill let you know what they are like when i get them in a couple of weeks

There were some Tridents on ebay. I missed the auction but I asked the guy who bought them what he thought:

The exhausts are too loud - even with the baffles in. I am going to try them with some wrapping around them......

I would advise you to see a set before buying, if possible..."

Good of him to let me know I thought.

I also asked about shipping some Speciality Spares and was quoted $110 to the UK.

I'm coming down to either Sceptre or the SS's but will see what you think first.
Btw, how long we're you quoted for shipping?

Larry

Oh yeah and see if they can put them as a gift on the customs form. Else you will be paying over £50 in customs when they arrive....

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

Thanks Shaun, no copyright rules Eh.
Hope you get the pipes sorted.

Thanks for the tips Gina & Grzegorz

I looked in on the RAASK pipes and happen to be on hols a few miles away from the M & P dealer in Wales in a couple of weeks, so I might take a look at them.

I am paying $75 for shipping from SS,
Dale who i was dealing with is also happy to send them as a gift, and to send the full invoice separatley, just incase there are customs issues.
He informed me that they were sent the day after we finalised payment (through paypal, which was useful) and they should take about 10-14days

cant wait

So I recieved the pipes yesterday. Had to pay vat on them! which worked out at only £8 as dale had put the value down as $100. Fortunatley didnt pay any import duty.
The whole replacement process took about half an hour.
I am suprised just how heavy the stock pipes are in comparison.
I didnt have time to put the jets in yet, but she runs well regardless.. . . .. .and the noise!!! ****** unbelievable, i cant describe how good it feels to be riding a bike now that sounds so good, like being in a spitfire!!! loud enough but no ringing in my ears after a long ride. great popping at tickover and smooth when running fast. plus they look great.
I have some video that i will try and post asap. which hopefully gives you an idea
I cant reccomend these enough, finally i have a bike thats louder than the vespa next door!
There is a possibility that i may import a few of these exhausts from america for sale here, at as good a price as possible.
If anyone is interested or knows anyone, drop me a ine.

Get rid of the snorkle, put in a UNI, and change those jets and you'll notice an even bigger increase in power with the Specialty Spares. I assume you got the AI kit too, unless you already had it removed.

I love the way mine sound and look. After 2 years and 9K miles they have settled in and sound even better. Great product!

Reading your report has finally done it. Will be putting in an order to Dale next week, either long or short slash cuts.
Glad they're what you wanted.

Did you get anywhere on a sound clip?

Just been talking to Raask to see if I can list them. Their current UK agent is M&P in Swansea.I have only heard good things about them (so far). Busters also list Raask slip ons part number RAASOT11ST at £318/pair. I did some development work with Trident for stainless slip ons, but I have to say they were definitely NOT good on that occasion. Hope this helps.

Hi Gina. I've been working and living in Damascus most of this year, so not been about much in UK. Had great ride down to Barcelona on the Speedy in June though!! Back here for a while now, so maybe we'll catch up soon ?
