I see the thread that I posted on “Iraq war brutality - Baghdad ER “ has been deleted may I ask why?  Just for clarity I posted this as a tribute to all those US troops that are in harms way so most of the free world can rest easily at night.. A salute to those that without question are in the line of fire all day every day.

Could it have been "Inflammatory or Controversial"?
I didn't get to read it, but just the title "Iraq War Brutality" lends me to believe it might have been such.

Personally I don’t think it was either as it was made as a tribute to the forces in the Middle East. However it would have been nice just to get a PM telling me that it had been deleted and why so I don’t make the same mistake again.

Anything 'political' will be nuked and like the AUP say, it's not open for discussion.

While I support the men and women who are making or have made the sacrifice on our behalf; I'm happy that we don't bring the brutality of war to a site viewed by children. They grow up quick enough these days. Good call Mods.

It was a pre-emptive delete....and thats fine...but don't pretend it was anything else. It wasn't offensive, it wasn't political, it was simply M.A.S.H. with real people.
