Well I finally took my speedy back to the dealer and they fixed the front end wobble. It seems to have been caused by a combination of an unbalaced front tire, misaligned rear tire and they reset the front forks in the triple tree . Now it runs great,I can let go of the bars , do a head stand on the seat and eat a snow cone without any problems.

How does one "reset the front forks?" I've never heard of such a thing.

First you have to disconnect them from the flux capacitor so you don't schock yourself while doing it...

What he means is that they pulled them out and re-set them back in place. They were probably a little bit skewed.

Glad its riding smoother for you!

So, with the axle and wheel in place or each fork separately?

I am willing to be they tore the whole front end apart and put it back together plus re-balanced the wheels.

I got my wheels back today from the shop with new Avons mounted up. Maybe I should loosen the fork tubes in the yokes and retorque them. I was thinking about pulling the tubes anyway to dump the fork oil. I don't think it's ever been changed.

If you are going to the trouble of loosening the triple trees make sure to realign the trees before you retorque them. They should pretty much align themselves but eyeball em anyway.

I always use the axle as my alignment square, loosen the tubes (not so much they slip around) and once the axle's seated and torqued I eyeball the trees and torque the tubes. Might not be by the book but it's always worked nicely for me.

You mean if I loosen the tubes or loosen the axle(?) nut?

Back in the day I always used to slacken (not too slack or the forks will push through) off the triple tree push the front tyre against a wall and bounce the forks up and down to self aline dont forget to retighten to correct torque or you will find out what is to ride a bike one inch or 25.4 mm from the ground!!

Pretty much the same thing I did except I grabbed a handful of front brake to align that tube with the rotor...

Probably not a bad idea.
The lower bushings on these bikes take a pretty good beating with the rake such as it is.
And, Triumph doesn't list a separate service/rplacement part.

Can I just dump the oil and refill? Or is it more involved than that?

It seems it helps to hang them upside down for bit to allow the sludge to really drain, maybe even a little kerosene "cocktail" shaker action to really clean the gooey bits out. I refilled mine with straight 10w but I wish I'd made the 10/15 mix that other members have used for a bit more damping.

Full Disclosure: I siphoned the oil out of my forks to put in a Progressive spring kit and did not dump. Now I wish I had...every once in while I get a slight buzzy sensation that tells me I have grit or dingleberrys in the sludge around the dampers.

NO MORE WOBBLE!!!

New tires.

New front brake rotor and pads (probably doesn't figure into it).

New fork oil, 50/50 mix of 10W and 15W, dumped out, not siphoned.

"Reset" forks - snugged bolts but not torqued. Torqued front axle and four clamp bolts. Bounced the front end up and down hard a few times. Torqued all 4 york bolts. Then I put on the front fender bracket.

Adjusted belt using caliper to measure gap in adjuster bracket slots to match the sides.

Slowing from 60mph to 20mph, no hands, Ma! No wobble!

Okay, I found the tiniest of wobbles, but only on certain roads. I'm still pretty happy.

Mine wobbles, worse if the load isn't balanced between my saddlebags.
Or, if the front tire is low on air.
