That's why it doesn't make sense (to me).
790: Aggressive cams, mild limiter.
865: Mild cams, aggressive limiter.
Seems like they are at cross purposes (from a tuner's viewpoint).
However, Mike's comment re 865/7,400 is interesting.
Update: Just checked Bike Bandit's parts listings.
They show different #s & descriptions for BA & SM "ICU".
SM says "8000 rpm".
Sorry for the hijack, but this in an interesting subject.
Seems like if you ever had to cough up the cash for a BA "igniter", (perish the thought), then you might as well get the SM part.
