Not your rev limiter then...it will cause the bike to "skip" for a few seconds (2-3 seconds) when you hit the rpm... then as soon as you back off the throttle its right back to power

I have a little strech of road that I use it for my shifting guide...and by the time I clutch/back off the throtle/and shift...it's right back to take the next gear to the limit...
