Gentlemen,
Watch out when using hollow ( security) torx bits on anything other than badges etc. I bought a set of snap on torx bits when I shimmed out the valve clearances on my 03america (12000k service) I got the hollow ones so I could use "em for the badges as well and snapped it on the third cam cover bolt I tried to loosen. Apparently (as the snap -on dude told me) the hollow torx bits rely on the raised section in the centre of the screw for strength and if you use them on open torx screws there is a fair chance they will break as mine did. I suppose it all boils down to the right tool for the job. Man, Imagine if that broken piece of torx bit had fallen down where the cam chain comes up between the cylinders. I still have nightmares about that!!!!! Be bloody careful when you do engine work
