Thanks for the info, Jim, but I'd rather do it right the first time. Can't be messing around with something that involves fuel, for surely Murphy's Law will rear it's ugly head.
I keep remembering Fred Rau's first article in the July Ride Metric Road Bike magazine, where he says "there's no do-it-yourself job small enough that you can't turn into a major catastrophe."
