They really are pretty inexpensive. I got a set at AutoZone for about $12 or so. A security torx will work on other screws as well, so it may not be a bad investment. If you don't do any of your own wrenching, the local shop (or any cycle shop) should be able to do a changeout for you at no cost, since it takes less than a minute. Or you could find a local BA.com member near you who has one, or one of us could just send you a loaner. It's pretty easy.
