I don't know, Ed! When I think of chrome tanks I usually think of BSAs and Ariels.

Actually, before I went with the Ava Gardner joke,(I'm easily sidetracked, ya know...I saw her in my personal photos, and so I went with that instead!)...I actually was going to make a point with some photos about some design cues maybe running their course, and should just die out.

I was going to bring up the topic of those pseudo-toolbox passenger peg hangers on the BAs and Speedies that I never particularly cared for and immeditately removed from my BA about a month after I bought it back in late '01. And I know I'm not the only person around here who has had some objections about 'em too.

And to be honest...the chrome instrument cluster atop the tank on our bikes is also a bit questionable in my view, but at least they're done a whole heck of a lot better than those footpeg brackets were.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
