Don't get me wrong; I love the look of my 02, but neither you nor I own the company. They do what they think is best.
Your argument though makes no sense: Harley went away from the "traditional" look with the V-rod yet you say that "HD understands that the carrying on of the style is big time to the base".
Why then did they change it if not for market share? And Triumph is wrong to do the same?
Supply and demand. That's how it works.
