From what I hear you still have about 6 or 7 more good years left where you'll still be viewed by them as a "hero" or at least a pretty good guy anyway.
After THAT, get ready to be viewed as the biggest jerk in the world who doesn't have a clue about how the world "really works".(that is of course until they move out on their own, and then suddenly you're A-Okay again)
