Please excuse me for posting about my children. But i wanted to share both my pride and sadness today.
Pride, for today was the first day of Kindergarden for my twins. Took them to class this morning half expecting some nervousness and tears, but what i got was two children who hit the ground running. As soon as they arrived they were gone. Off to meet and make new friends and begin the long road of learning.
Sadness, or maybe selfishness, i dont know. But they are growing up to fast for me. There i was expecting to be a pillar for them to lean on this morning but instead they didnt need me. All i got was a 'see ya at hometime daddy'.
Today im a proud pappa with a tear in my eye. Think i might take the bike for a ride at lunch time for some me time.
