From what I hear from my local Triumph shop, the dealers are "Highly Suggested" to put a certain amount of miles on their demos per month. I believe TRiumph America thinks that if noone is demoing the bikes, they won't get sold. That's just one more thing that sets Triumph above the other makers/dealers. They actually want potential customers to jump on the bike and put it through it's paces. My local Yamaha and Honda dealers just want you to spend your money without having put as much as a mile on the bike you are looking at. Foolish.
