This will be my last post as a Connecticut Millionaire, I will be heavily involved with traveling and moving over the next three or four weeks to our new home of the GREAT STATE OF GEORGIA (Dwight wearing off on me).

I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone for your warmth and support over the past year. I have read the (Rides and Rallies) and it depressing that I will not be able to take part with all my new friends over the next couple of weeks.

I have made five life long friends RobBA05 (Rob & Aunt Cathy), The-Other (Lee) I call him Gill, Uncle Charlie (Charlie), Bucky (Martin), XHD (Steve) and a host of others Pete, Dwight, Mert, Paula, Wojo, CTMike, Benny, Friar John, Bonnyusa, CTNewbie, KennyMC, Lizadking, Frank, Dinqua, LarkFarms, Yota, OneiJack, even the Dog. Plus 50 others I have meet over the last year.

The one thing that has always astounded me is how well everyone got along I never have heard a negative word muttered against another member (although it is a blessing to have a thick skin) and everyone will go out of there way to help you out with out asking for anything in return the gratification is just doing it.

I have received e-mails from our GA. members welcoming me and offer their support, for which I and my family are extremely grateful.

This is not goodbye; I just need to concentrate on the next phase our lives for the time being. I will be (lurking) when every I get a chance.

Again a big thank you from Lynn, Brett and I, I’m going to miss you guys.

John

I like how you say even the Dog like it's something dirty! Was nice meeting you and your son at Unclecharlies place. Good luck in your move.

John it's been a pleasure getting to know you and Brett. I hope all goes well with your move and in your new home in the GREAT STATE OF GEORGIA. I spent a number of weeks in McDoughno back in the mid 80's. Now I will have two reasons to visit there again. Thanks for all your help.

You better call me before you split if you ever want to see
your big socket alive! I may be riding, or trailering to FL
in Nov. I'll stop by on the way for the house warming!
It's not goodbye, you can't get rid of me that easy!

A blessing to someone is not a violation...

Specific topics/discussions are.

John, Even though we only met once or twice, you helped me rejet at Charlie's Tech Day II and I very much appreciated it. Great work and hope our paths cross in the future. Good luck in Georgia - and let's be honest you are going to enjoy a much longer riding season down there than here in CT.

John best of luck on your move south.
I'm sure Lynn and Brett will love riding the roads in north Georgia.
Will miss you guys up at Toymakers.
As great a state as Georgia is bet know-one can do a
British Banger Plater like Greg.
My wife and I hope to head south(SC) in a couple of years.
Buy that time you should know all the good roads.

Nah Pat, you can ride just as long here in CT, you just need more raingear, electric gloves, an ice scraper for your headlight and thermal underwear and socks, that's all....

I actually have a snowmobile suit that works pretty well, but have kinda sworn off winter riding - its just too much work. Bayern - you live in litchfield County? I'm in Woodbury - should do some local riding some time - I can't always do these multi state rally things.

I never wanted to lead, and I never wanted to follow. I just wanted to ride.

I'm right up in New Milford (till the Colorado thing works out or I die, whichever comes first!)but I rarely even get to ride to work or the store, let alone just out riding around. Pretty much just have to grab a half hour when I can and make the best of it!
