it's a tight fit for sure. i just used WD-40 (some people say it's bad to use but oh well) and a little elbow grease. I think, THINK, they slip on the outside, but not completely sure. well worth the 20-something bucks though.
You get what you pay for as far as chrome is considered. I still plan on high-temp powdercoat soon.
