I am sitting here thinking the Harley guy won that interaction. He sits there drinking without a bike and throws out a few lines. He caused rage, exactly what he set out to do with little to no effort.
Don't be such an easy target. His game was to get a rise. He got you to join his game even though you didn't want to and he won the game.
You lost when you said "Thats why I bought a Triumph". The trick is to say nothing sending them home thinking "Why didn't I buy a Triumph?"
