Do you think you'll be riding mellow or aggressive? How do you drive? If you're the least bit aggressive, I'd get the Speedmaster. Better brakes. Both bikes can be made to haul hiney, but the Speedy stops better. Even if you don't like the Speedy's seat or bars, it's easier/cheaper to put America bars and seat on a Speedy that it is to put Speedy brakes on an America.
