The old site would let you check a bio, then check performance settings or photos from there. I keep running across posts on the new Forum which make me want to check a Member's photo gallery, and then I cannot even find them in the Photopost. (Example: Cfax) What about those performance settings? Are they no longer available either? Inquiring minds want to know...

Let's bump this one back to the top, a very good question that has not been answered yet. I am all for the same thing.

Nothing remains quite the same and I don't like it any more than any one else. Please believe that.
Robert's old site was tailored specifically for us and totally rocked. UBB.threads is a generic package that does not include the cool things that Robert wrote into the old site (like performance settings). PhotoPost is a separate product that is blended into UBB.threads.
So are the performance settings lost? Yes and no. If we could convince everyone (or most) to use their bio space for that, they would not be. We still would not have the comparison part that was way cool.
Looking at people's photos is not straightforward to say the least. What I do is bring up PhotoPost in another window (most browsers you can right click on the PhotoPost link above and choose Open Link in...) and leave it up while I am online here. From there, I click on Member Galleries in the Categories column and use the alphabetical index. Once there, I choose the member whose pics I want to see (interesting to note that Cfax does not have any pics...).
Easy? No. But I can live with it as this may be the only way this board remains alive and that my friends, is paramount...
I will ask Robert about this and perhaps he can respond.

The carb settings are not all gone. I've just yet to figure out how to integrate the old with the new. In due time....

One thing. Being a bit up in years(the old memory isn't what it used to be), I would like to be able find my posts from My Home. I go to the User Lists and put in my name to find out where I posted. But, It's not the end of the world and I appreciate everything you do for this site Robert.

"If we could convince everyone (or most) to use their bio space for that, they would not be. We still would not have the comparison part that was way cool." Good point, easy to add that info to your bio. Just added my setup info.

Heheh..I'm dying here. Robert is listed as a newbie. The irony is just a little thick isn't it? BB

This post might be more effective, after Phil's suggestions and tips on Photpost, if moved back to the Lounge?
I hadn't even seen the replies since I posted (forgot to add to my favorites).
Thanks for the ideas - this whole thing is just a work in process - and we are fortunate to be able to affect some of it's direction. We all matter. Thanks, Robert, Pat, Phil - you know what I mean.
