As far as looks goes, I reckon the Bubs as shown on

Jeepspot's Bub Pipes have got something that does it for me. I think maybe I might be tired of the slash cut look and this alternative is very nice.

I must say though, it is really hard to make a decision on what pipes sound the best when the examples given are of bikes running stationary whilst the throttle is blipped occasionally.

I reckon we could get a much better appreciation of a pipe's TRUE sound when it is recorded whilst the bike is taking off under load and also, as the Raask Exhaust example shows, of a bike passing the microphone when recording.

Thunderbike pipes I believe have done it right with their video, as one can really get a true perspective on what their pipes sound like.

What would be Really Good is, perhaps when you yankies get together on your annual meet and there is every pipe known to man in one spot, someone with a video camera can do this thing right once and for all so people like me who are trying to make a decision, can do so without the doubts I have at the moment. It's just an idea but from my perspective, it would help me heaps.

Regarding the fishtails, well they aren't my cup of tea but I appreciate all those that love em. Makes this whole debate on looks, sound and performance that much more interesting.

So I'll keep looking for more good info on this one and thanks you'll for your comments which are much appreicated. One final thing, I'm trying to find a sound byte on the D&D's but can't find one. Anyone got a link? cheers all
