Now if only I could find a used America or Speedy closer than 6 hours away....LOL.

Good on you for taking a serious course before hopping on a great bike. Start thinking of your return trip as three two-hour segments. You'll want to stop every two hours and top off the tank, stretch your legs, drink a straight beverage and review your progress. Won't hurt to sit a minute or two and admire your new bike either.

And be prepared for all the people who will want to come admire your bike, tell you stories about the Triumph they had way back when, and ladies telling you how beautiful she is. I had one hitting up on me over the weekend, when i stopped to eat. If only I was younger and not hitched!!

It has happened to me no matter where I stop. It's a great feeling.
