Good on you for taking a serious course before hopping on a great bike. Start thinking of your return trip as three two-hour segments. You'll want to stop every two hours and top off the tank, stretch your legs, drink a straight beverage and review your progress. Won't hurt to sit a minute or two and admire your new bike either. You'll want a set of earplugs as six hours of wind noise can be overwhelming to a novice. You're in for a great ride, just wait and see; it's such a fantastic motorcycle...
