Jethro, Be good to see youz guyz again. haven seen ya since the TCH rally about 3-4 years ago eh? We did not have Canada on the agenda this year since most people have gone the last 3 years. But it is only 90 miles to Niagara Falls and I bet you could easily convince a few others that may not have seen the falls to make the trip too.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

this is all easy..passport is the best but if you don't have that have at least 3 form's of ID..
1. driver licen with pic on it 2. ss card 3. birth cert..
ok guys so you know the only fast way there is the slab .no way around it.. on the slab you can get into canda in about 2 to 2 and hafe hour's if things are slow at the border it could take 15 min's could take 3 hour's to get across..same on the way back .. i do this a few times a month and it easy just don't give them any resone to look at you.. don't bring any weapons stuff like that
they also will take your pic as you go over and come back and also use dog's..

dog you should be ok... i do that just to be on the safe side now i don't mind doing this on firday but on sat i will be goning on the ride we have planed we have done this the last few year's so this year we did not plan on doing this run..because the only way to do this ride is the slab even if you try to get off the slab you have to get on it at the end to get into the falls any way.. any other way will take about 4 hours to get there and then you will have to pay for parking once you over and if you don't know were your going it's very hard to find you just can't park any were most place have gard's to stop you from parking unless you have a pass and it will cost you at least 10 buck's per bike to park and the tolls on the way up and back will be about 10 bucks also i'm just making sure everyonr know the fact's Ed

I don't care. Just asking if we did if I had enough ID. I have been to the falls and have no real desire to do that again, but if everyone else is I want to be able to go for the ride. When I went you didn't have to show any ID.

I've never needed more than two pieces of ID. They have to be government issue and one must be a picture ID. Credit cards don't count. When getting asked question just answer truthfully, look them in the eye and take your sunglasses off.
Ed is correct though, the Canadian side is better viewing but you are looking at a full day to get there, see it and then return.

Good thing I didn't just drop my bike doing about 45 while turning into my drive (to avoid lightning, hail, etc.).

thats easy with this one we could go just a small arc patch with the year on it that goes under it "by the way that was agreat idel giveing by some one else" don't want to take credit for it or just go with a pin that has the next year on it pin or glue the next year rally on the patch... but i wanted a patch that matched the our bikes root's ... well greg sorry i guess you will just have to make room Ed

I did some alcoholic training this week to make sure that I am ready. New record for me in one day: 6 Old Styles, 5 Jack and Waters, 3 glasses of wine, 3 more Jack and Waters.
12 days. Change pilots to 45's, change oil, affix windscreen, polish, tighten, pack, and RIDE!

I'm turning 29 on the 20th (that's much more important than 50 because I'm turning 29 which inherently makes it more important) so you're gonna miss my party and the rally for someone elses party? For shame
